Chevy correction work tends to fall into two groups. Dark Silverados, Tahoes and Suburbans that have been through automatic washes show heavy swirling on the hood, doors and tailgate, and the size of those panels makes it a long day at the shop. Corvettes and Camaros are the other group: owners want the long hood and fenders flawless, and the composite Corvette panels and low splitters need a careful setup on level ground. Every panel is measured first, because older trucks have often been polished before and some have thin clear on the roof and hood edges. A test spot sets the pad and polish; a one-step enhancement is often enough on Summit White, while black and dark grey usually need two steps to look right in direct sun. Correction is done at the shop in Katy under inspection lighting, and we can collect the vehicle if that is easier. Most corrected Chevys finish with a ceramic coating so the work holds up through the next summer.

Chevy paint is middle of the road for hardness. Black, Summit White and dark grey are the big colors on trucks, and the wide, flat hoods and roofs on Tahoes and Suburbans are where swirls and oxidation show.
