The new Trailblazer often has a contrast white or black roof and plenty of black plastic trim. The old one has wide cladding and big flat panels that oxidize on the roof and hood.
Interior
Cloth or synthetic leather in the newer car, with a two-tone dash; older ones have cloth or leather and a lot of hard grey plastic.
Living in Houston
The newer Trailblazer is a commuter for young drivers in Katy and Cypress; the older one is a cheap family hauler that often needs serious interior work.
- Cloth seats on many trims: spot-treated in every interior detail, with shampoo extraction as an add-on when they need it.
- Unpainted textured trim: it fades grey in the sun, so it is cleaned and dressed with a matte UV protectant.
- Older plastic headlights yellow in the sun: headlight restoration is an add-on worth asking about.
