Smaller panels than a Silverado, but the ZR2 and Trail Boss add flares, skid plates and black trim that hold dirt. Dark colors show wash marring on the short hood.
Interior
Cloth on most trims, leather on upper ones, and a compact crew cab rear seat where dog hair collects. Newer trucks have a large screen and more glossy black trim.
Living in Houston
Midsize truck owners here fish at Galveston and Sargent, hunt at weekends and commute on 99 the rest of the week. Salt air and sand on the floor mats are common in summer.
