The Silverado EV is an electric full-size pickup with a midgate that folds the rear cab wall forward, an idea borrowed from the old Avalanche.

Smooth, aero body with a tall light bar across the nose and a short bed with long rails. The large flat hood covers a front trunk, and bug splatter on the tall nose needs removing before it bakes on.
Interior
Synthetic seats, a big screen and an available fixed glass roof. The midgate lets bed dust reach the cab, so seat backs and the rear floor get extra attention.
Living in Houston
Used by commuters and contractors alike; Work Truck versions carry tools and drywall, RST versions get babied. Both collect love bugs on the tall front.
- Electric: there is no engine bay, but the frunk, charge port door and underbody plastics get cleaned, and washing an EV is completely safe.
