Kias are everywhere in our service area: Tellurides lined up at Katy ISD pickups, Sorentos and Sportages in Cypress driveways, and Fortes and K5s parked at Energy Corridor offices. The Telluride turned Kia into a brand people get attached to, and those owners tend to book coatings early. Most other Kia bookings are interior first, because these are the cars that carry kids, dogs and sports gear every week.
Paint
Kia paint is on the thin side and fairly soft, much like Hyundai's. It responds well to a light polish, but it also marrs quickly in automatic washes. Black, Gravity Gray and the darker greens and blues show it most.
Interiors
Cloth on base trims and Kia's SynTex synthetic leather on many mid trims, with real or Nappa leather on top models. Newer Kias add curved screens, piano-black and touch panels that fingerprint quickly.
