How we approach a GMC

GMC interiors split into two very different jobs. Denali and AT4 Sierras and Yukons have perforated, often ventilated leather, wood trim and large screens; Pro and SLE trucks, and many Sierra HDs, have vinyl or cloth seats and rubber floors that come home from jobsites full of red clay and construction dust. On the leather trucks, we blow dust out of the perforations with compressed air before cleaning, uses a pH-balanced cleaner on a soft brush, and keeps moisture light so nothing soaks into the seat ventilation. Open-pore wood on Denali Ultimate trucks is wiped with a barely damp towel and never dressed. On work trucks the rubber mats come out to be scrubbed and rinsed, and the textured door panels are brushed rather than wiped. Yukon and Yukon XL interiors get the third row, the tracks under the captain's chairs and the cargo well, which is where sand and crumbs end up after a week of school runs and a weekend in Galveston. All of it is done mobile, in your driveway or at the jobsite.

GMC paint

GM truck paint is on the harder side, so swirls take some cutting to remove but a corrected finish lasts. Trucks from the 2000s are known for clear coat lifting on the roof and hood after years outside.
