A compact two-box shape with chrome window trim on many, and roof rails whose channels collect pollen. White and silver hide wear; black and the darker greys show swirls on the hood and tailgate.
Interior
Cloth or V-Tex on most trims, with a small optional third row on some second-generation cars. The latest Tiguan uses a column shifter and a console dial, which leaves an open console that is easy to keep clean.
