The second generation has a long sloped hood and a large trapezoid grille that collects bug splatter. Silver, white and dark grey are the common colors, and the trunk lid is a big flat panel that shows water spots.
Interior
Cloth seats on S and SE, leather on Titanium and up, and a rotary shifter knob on later cars. Rideshare Fusions usually have worn rear seat cloth and stained floor mats.
Living in Houston
A Fusion that has done years of runs to Bush and Hobby picks up interior grime fast. Hybrid and Energi versions were a common sight in Energy Corridor parking garages.
- Cloth seats on many trims: spot-treated in every interior detail, with shampoo extraction as an add-on when they need it.
- Older plastic headlights yellow in the sun: headlight restoration is an add-on worth asking about.
- Piano-black trim: it scratches if you look at it, so it gets plush microfiber only and can be polished and coated.
