A sloping roofline with a fixed glass roof on many trims, and push buttons in place of door handles. The glossy black roof pillars and rear spoiler show water spots quickly, and the low nose collects bug splatter.
Interior
A tall vertical screen dominates the dash, and the seats are synthetic leather or cloth. A fabric-covered bar across the dash hides the speaker and holds dust that a soft vacuum brush lifts best.
Living in Houston
Parked at home on a charger most nights, a Mach-E often goes months between proper washes. Love bugs on the front end and pollen on the glass roof are the usual complaints in spring and fall.

- Electric: there is no engine bay, but the frunk, charge port door and underbody plastics get cleaned, and washing an EV is completely safe.

The frunk is a plastic tub with a drain plug, so it can be rinsed out after a beach trip. Phone-as-key cars need the key card left out for the visit.
