Interior
Leather on most trims with second-row captain's chairs or a bench, and a power-folding third row on newer models. The rear cargo floor and third-row footwells hold sand and spilled drinks from long trips.
Living in Houston
Many Expeditions here tow a boat or travel trailer at weekends and run carpools during the week. After a lake weekend the hitch, rear bumper and tailgate collect tar, bugs and road film.

2025 to present · fifth generation
A split tailgate with a drop-down shelf and a wide screen across the dash. The tailgate shelf and its hinges are a new place for dirt to hide.
