A long hood and low nose take rock chips and love bugs at highway speed. Racing stripes, painted or vinyl, need different handling, and convertible tops need their own cleaner. Bright blue, red and orange cars are as common as black ones.
Interior
Leather or cloth sport seats, with Recaro seats on some performance models. The console, shifter and lower door trim scuff from shoes, and convertibles collect leaves and pollen behind the rear seat.
Living in Houston
Many Mustangs live under a cover in the garage and come out for a morning car meet or a Sunday loop toward Fulshear. Others are daily drivers parked in the sun with dashboards that crack.
- Black and dark colors are common: they show swirls, water spots and pollen film first, and benefit most from a coating.
- Fabric convertible top: cleaned with a top-specific cleaner and protected, with no pressure washer on the seams.
- Low front splitter: we work on level ground and keeps equipment clear of the nose.
