Vertical light strips, a tall grille and a floating roof on many trims. Sport cars use black accents that fade in the sun; luxury trims use bright trim that spots in hard water.
Interior
Leatherette on base cars and leather higher up, often in light colors. The console below the screen has gloss surfaces and a deep bin that catch dust, and the rear seat is small enough that car seats leave marks on the backrest.
Living in Houston
Lease XT4s often come in before turn-in with denim stains on light seats and a hazy film on the windshield from summer off-gassing of the dash.
- Light-colored seats are popular: denim dye transfer and sunscreen stains are cleaned early, before they set in the heat.
- Piano-black trim: it scratches if you look at it, so it gets plush microfiber only and can be polished and coated.
