Paint and exterior

A compact body with sharp creases along the doors and a short trunk. Black and grey cars swirl quickly, and Blackwing cars often wear PPF on the nose and carbon fiber aero pieces.

Interior

Leatherette or leather on most cars, with sport seats and suede-like accents on V-Series models. The cabin is small, so the console, door pockets and rear footwells fill with clutter fast.

Living in Houston

As a daily commuter on 290 or the Westpark Tollway, a CT4 collects rock chips on the front bumper and love bug splatter across the grille every spring and fall.

• Black and dark colors are common: they show swirls, water spots and pollen film first, and benefit most from a coating.
• Often wears PPF or a wrap: film edges get a coating-safe wash, no clay on the film, and the film can be ceramic coated too.
• Exposed carbon fiber: clear-coated carbon is polished like paint; satin carbon is cleaned and protected, never polished.
• Alcantara or microsuede: brushed dry, cleaned with a dedicated cleaner on a towel (never sprayed directly), then re-napped.
