How we approach a Lamborghini

Coating a Lamborghini often means coating something other than gloss paint. A large share of cars here are a matte factory color or wrapped bumper to bumper in clear PPF, sometimes both, so the first job is identifying every finish on the car. Matte panels get a matte-specific coating that adds protection without adding shine; gloss paint and clear film get a standard coating; exposed carbon is checked for gloss or satin weave and treated to match. The Urus is coated more than any other Lamborghini because it is driven every day, parked outside offices and washed far more often, and its large wheels shed a lot of brake dust onto coated faces that rinse clean. On a Huracán, Aventador or Revuelto the many vents, intakes and grilles are worked by hand with small applicators so nothing pools in the corners. The two-year coating can be done mobile in the owner's garage; the five-to-seven-year coating with correction is done at the shop in Katy.
