Paint and exterior

A big flat hood, sharp creases down the sides and lower body trim in black or carbon depending on spec. Gloss colors are the majority, but matte grey, black and green show up here too, and each needs its own products.

Interior

Leather or Alcantara with hexagon stitching, the flip-up start cover and the stacked touchscreens in the center collecting fingerprints. Rear seats see kids and car seats, which is unusual for a Lamborghini.

Living in Houston

A daily Urus gets hard water from office sprinklers, love bugs across the grille in May and September and brake dust caked into its wheels after a week of Westpark commutes.

• Factory matte or satin paint is offered: it is never polished or waxed; it gets matte-safe soap and a matte-specific sealant or coating.
• Large wheels and tall tires: wheel faces, barrels and wells take real time on this one, and it shows when they are done right.
• Alcantara or microsuede: brushed dry, cleaned with a dedicated cleaner on a towel (never sprayed directly), then re-napped.
• Family hauler: car-seat areas, cupholders and seat rails hold the most crumbs; pet hair is an add-on quoted on the call.
• Large touchscreens: cleaned with a screen-safe, ammonia-free product and a dedicated cloth.
