Mercedes-Benz CLS detailing in Houston

Frameless door glass and a low, arching roofline. Dark colors are common, and on older cars the long roof and rear deck are where the Texas sun dulls the clear first.
Interior
Leather or MB-Tex with wood or carbon trim. The low roof means the rear headliner gets marked by heads and hair products, and the long doors leave wide sills that collect scuffs.
Living in Houston
Older CLS sedans around Sugar Land and Westchase have often been through tunnel washes for years, so swirls, faded trim and dull headlights are the usual starting point.
- Hard clear coat: swirls take more cutting to remove, so correction is slower, but a corrected finish holds up well afterwards.
- Black and dark colors are common: they show swirls, water spots and pollen film first, and benefit most from a coating.
- Older plastic headlights yellow in the sun: headlight restoration is an add-on worth asking about.
- Lots of chrome: Houston hard water etches it, so it is dried fully, polished where needed and sealed.
