Paint and exterior
The A90's curved fenders and double-bubble roof are hard to polish evenly, and Renaissance Red and Nitro Yellow show up as often as white and black. On the A80, the long hood and the tall rear wing on many cars need a gentle hand on old clear coat.
Interior
A90 cabins are mostly black leather or Alcantara with BMW switchgear, and the driver's side bolster wears from climbing in and out of a low seat. A80 interiors have dried-out dash plastics and seats that need gentle conditioning.
Living in Houston
Supras here are weekend cars, kept in a garage and taken out for coffee meets. Garage dust and pollen still settle between drives, and dry-dusting them is how the swirls start.
- Low front splitter: we work on level ground and keeps equipment clear of the nose.
- Large wheels and tall tires: wheel faces, barrels and wells take real time on this one, and it shows when they are done right.
- Alcantara or microsuede: brushed dry, cleaned with a dedicated cleaner on a towel (never sprayed directly), then re-napped.
