Celestial Silver and Super White hide a lot; Midnight Black and the deep red and blue metallics show every automatic-wash swirl. On older Camrys the roof and trunk lid lose their gloss first, and the rear lip spoiler on SE and XSE trims collects wax residue along its edges.
Interior
Fabric on LE, SofTex on SE and many XSEs, leather on XLE. The wide center console and cupholders catch coffee spills, and the black lower door panels scuff from shoes. Newer cars add a tall screen on the dash that shows every fingerprint.
Living in Houston
A Camry that commutes on I-10 or the Westpark collects love bugs across the bumper and mirrors in May and September. Left a week in the heat, they etch the clear coat.
- Black and dark colors are common: they show swirls, water spots and pollen film first, and benefit most from a coating.
- Cloth seats on many trims: spot-treated in every interior detail, with shampoo extraction as an add-on when they need it.

Hybrid only, with a larger screen, more gloss-black trim and a sharper nose whose lower grille openings hold bug debris.
