Toyota bZ4X and bZ detailing in Houston
The bZ4X, renamed bZ for 2026, is Toyota's electric SUV, and most in Houston are leased commuters that charge at home in the garage.
Paint and interior on the bZ4X and bZ
Paint and exterior
Black wheel-arch cladding wraps the fenders and needs a UV dressing to stay even in color. White and gray are the common colors, often with a black roof, and the flush front end catches bugs across its full width.
Interior
Fabric or SofTex seats, a gauge cluster set far forward above the wheel and a wide gloss-black console. Some trims have a fabric-covered dash that holds dust and cannot take strong cleaners.
Living in Houston
EVs sit charging in the garage and get washed less, so pollen and love bugs stay on longer than they should. The front bumper and windshield show etching first.
- Electric: there is no engine bay, but the frunk, charge port door and underbody plastics get cleaned, and washing an EV is completely safe.
- Unpainted textured trim: it fades grey in the sun, so it is cleaned and dressed with a matte UV protectant.
- Piano-black trim: it scratches if you look at it, so it gets plush microfiber only and can be polished and coated.
What a bZ4X and bZ costs to detail
The bZ4X and bZ is priced as mid suv / small truck. Prices are by vehicle size and assume normal condition. Heavy pet hair, sand, mold, smoke or neglected paint is quoted on the call, before anything is booked. No surprises on the day.
