Porsche Panamera detailing in Houston
The Panamera is Porsche's four-door, a long fastback with a big hatch, and Houston owners use it as an executive daily driver that still feels like a sports car.
Paint and interior on the Panamera
Paint and exterior
The long roof sloping into the hatch is the panel most often neglected, and the active rear spoiler hides dirt beneath it. Sport Turismo wagons add a roof spoiler and more rear glass to keep free of water spots.
Interior
Four individual seats on many cars, with a full-length console that runs into the back. Second-generation cars have black glass touch panels across the console that show smudges and fine scratches, and the rear seats get their own climate controls to clean around.
Living in Houston
Panameras commute from Memorial and The Woodlands into downtown and park in hot, dusty garages, where that dust lands on dark paint and settles into the console panels every day.
- Hard clear coat: swirls take more cutting to remove, so correction is slower, but a corrected finish holds up well afterwards.
- Black and dark colors are common: they show swirls, water spots and pollen film first, and benefit most from a coating.
- Piano-black trim: it scratches if you look at it, so it gets plush microfiber only and can be polished and coated.
- Large wheels and tall tires: wheel faces, barrels and wells take real time on this one, and it shows when they are done right.
What a Panamera costs to detail
The Panamera is priced as sedan / coupe. Prices are by vehicle size and assume normal condition. Heavy pet hair, sand, mold, smoke or neglected paint is quoted on the call, before anything is booked. No surprises on the day.
