Silver, white and grey are the common colors and hide light swirls well. Bumper paint chips easily at highway speed on 99, and the black plastic mirror caps and lower grille on older cars fade to grey in the sun.
Interior
Mostly cloth, often a dark charcoal fabric that hides spills until it is extracted. Newer SR trims add synthetic leather with contrast stitching. The cupholders and shifter surround collect sticky drinks and the seat tracks collect fries.
