Paint and exterior
The wide front bumper, hood and fenders take rock chips, so PPF on the front end is common. Dark colors show fine swirls under shop lighting, and the large rear wing is awkward to dry fully by hand.
Interior
Leather on most cars, with softer hides on later premium versions and carbon fiber trim. Tight footwells and a busy center console full of buttons collect dust, so they are blown out with air before any wiping.
Living in Houston
Even a garage queen collects dust, pollen and the occasional love bug on short drives. A maintenance wash and a coating keep it ready for a weekend run.
- Often wears PPF or a wrap: film edges get a coating-safe wash, no clay on the film, and the film can be ceramic coated too.
- Exposed carbon fiber: clear-coated carbon is polished like paint; satin carbon is cleaned and protected, never polished.
- Large wheels and tall tires: wheel faces, barrels and wells take real time on this one, and it shows when they are done right.
- Low front splitter: we work on level ground and keeps equipment clear of the nose.
