Lexus RZ detailing in Houston
The RZ is the electric Lexus, sharing its platform with the Toyota bZ, and most Houston examples are leased commuters that charge in the garage.
Paint and interior on the RZ
Paint and exterior
Two-tone combinations with a black roof and pillars are offered, and the black half shows swirls first. The flush front end with no real grille catches bugs across its full width.
Interior
Synthetic leather or Ultrasuede, a glass roof on many cars and a large screen. Dark interiors show dust in the sun, and the Ultrasuede needs a dedicated cleaner and a soft brush.
Living in Houston
A home-charged EV gets washed less often. Sprinkler water spots the glass roof, and love bugs on the nose are worth removing within a day or two in September.
- Electric: there is no engine bay, but the frunk, charge port door and underbody plastics get cleaned, and washing an EV is completely safe.
- Large glass roof: Houston water leaves mineral spots on it, so it is cleaned inside and out and suits the glass coating add-on.
- Alcantara or microsuede: brushed dry, cleaned with a dedicated cleaner on a towel (never sprayed directly), then re-napped.
What a RZ costs to detail
The RZ is priced as mid suv / small truck. Prices are by vehicle size and assume normal condition. Heavy pet hair, sand, mold, smoke or neglected paint is quoted on the call, before anything is booked. No surprises on the day.
