Audi TT · 2000 to 2023

Audi TT detailing in Houston

The TT is a small coupe and roadster that ran for over two decades, and in Houston it shows up both as a garaged weekend car and as an older daily driver.

What we watch for

Paint and interior on the TT

Paint and exterior

The rounded first-generation body is easy to wash but old enough now for faded red and silver on the hood and roof. Later cars have sharper lines and a rear spoiler that rises at speed, with grime trapped underneath it.

Interior

Round vents, a driver-focused dash and rear seats in the coupe that mostly carry bags. The third generation puts the climate controls in the vent centers and has no center screen, so those buttons collect hand oil.

Living in Houston

Roadsters get driven top-down in spring and fall, which brings pollen and dust straight into the cabin and the top well. Older coupes parked outside need their black trim brought back from gray.

  • Hard clear coat: swirls take more cutting to remove, so correction is slower, but a corrected finish holds up well afterwards.
  • Fabric convertible top: cleaned with a top-specific cleaner and protected, with no pressure washer on the seams.
  • Older plastic headlights yellow in the sun: headlight restoration is an add-on worth asking about.
Pricing

What a TT costs to detail

The TT is priced as sedan / coupe. Prices are by vehicle size and assume normal condition. Heavy pet hair, sand, mold, smoke or neglected paint is quoted on the call, before anything is booked. No surprises on the day.
