BMW Z4 detailing in Houston
The Z4 is BMW's two-seat roadster, and in Houston it is a spring and fall car that spends most of the summer in the garage.

Long hood, short tail and a lot of curved panels. Bright colors are common on roadsters, and the nose takes bug strikes on every back-road drive out toward Brookshire or Waller.
Interior
Two seats in Vernasca or Sensatec and a small cabin that fills with pollen, leaves and dust whenever the top is down. The seat backs and center tunnel get direct sun and fade.
Living in Houston
Top down in March, a Z4 collects oak and pine pollen inside and out within an hour. The fabric top on newer cars needs its own cleaner and protectant to keep water beading.
- Fabric convertible top: cleaned with a top-specific cleaner and protected, with no pressure washer on the seams.
- Hard clear coat: swirls take more cutting to remove, so correction is slower, but a corrected finish holds up well afterwards.
- Synthetic leather: it does not need conditioner, just a gentle cleaner and a matte protectant so it does not go shiny.
