Paint and interior on the Artura

Paint and exterior

Smooth, tightly wrapped body panels with few aero add-ons and a deep intake behind each door. Papaya orange, greys and whites are common, and the clean surfaces show swirls across a whole door.

Interior

A newer cabin with a center touchscreen, drive-mode rocker switches on the instrument binnacle and Clubsport seats. Light leathers and Alcantara are both offered, and pale seats pick up dye from jeans quickly. The carbon sills scuff from shoes.

Living in Houston

An Artura that slips out to the office or dinner in Uptown on electric power sees more parking-lot dust, sprinkler water and door-edge contact than a pure weekend car.

• Often wears PPF or a wrap: film edges get a coating-safe wash, no clay on the film, and the film can be ceramic coated too.
• Exposed carbon fiber: clear-coated carbon is polished like paint; satin carbon is cleaned and protected, never polished.
• Alcantara or microsuede: brushed dry, cleaned with a dedicated cleaner on a towel (never sprayed directly), then re-napped.
• Light-colored seats are popular: denim dye transfer and sunscreen stains are cleaned early, before they set in the heat.
