Long hood, wide fender bulges and a short tail. Paint on cars that lived outside is often chalky on the hood and roof, the headlight lenses have yellowed, and the fender bulges catch polish residue.
Interior
Four real seats, and with all four doors open the back is easier to reach than in most coupes. Cloth or leather, with a dash and door tops that crack in the sun if they are never protected.
Living in Houston
An RX-8 kept in a Katy garage and driven on weekends still picks up pollen in the cowl and love bugs on the nose, and the rotary's exhaust leaves soot on the rear bumper.
