Maserati Grecale detailing in Houston
The Grecale is the smaller Maserati SUV, sold in gas and electric Folgore versions, and it is turning up in Houston family garages.
Paint and interior on the Grecale
Paint and exterior
A compact body with a long hood, a big grille and smooth flanks that show water spots. Gloss black trim and the headlight lenses are easy to scratch; dark metallics and whites are common.
Interior
Leather or synthetic seats, several screens including a comfort display below the main one, and a smooth dash. Light interiors show denim dye, sunscreen and kids' shoe scuffs on the seatbacks.
Living in Houston
A Grecale used for school runs in West University gets kids' fingerprints on the screens and sand in the back seat, and an afternoon in a sunny pickup line warms the light leather enough to set any stain.
- Large touchscreens: cleaned with a screen-safe, ammonia-free product and a dedicated cloth.
- Light-colored seats are popular: denim dye transfer and sunscreen stains are cleaned early, before they set in the heat.
- Piano-black trim: it scratches if you look at it, so it gets plush microfiber only and can be polished and coated.
- Family hauler: car-seat areas, cupholders and seat rails hold the most crumbs; pet hair is an add-on quoted on the call.
What a Grecale costs to detail
The Grecale is priced as mid suv / small truck. Prices are by vehicle size and assume normal condition. Heavy pet hair, sand, mold, smoke or neglected paint is quoted on the call, before anything is booked. No surprises on the day.
