Infiniti Q50 detailing in Houston
The Q50 was Infiniti's sport sedan for its whole run, a common sight on the Westpark Tollway and in Energy Corridor garages, usually in black or grey.

Paint and exterior
Black and graphite show swirls and water spots across the long hood and the trunk lid. Red Sport cars carry gloss black mirror caps and trim that swirl just from a dry wipe, so they get their own soft towels.
Interior
Leather or leatherette, with semi-aniline on upper trims. The stacked two-screen dash means the lower touchscreen is covered in fingerprints, and white or stone seats pick up denim dye on the bolsters.
Living in Houston
Plenty of Q50s spend weekdays in a downtown or Westchase parking garage, so most of the marring comes from quick washes rather than weather, and it polishes out well.
- Black and dark colors are common: they show swirls, water spots and pollen film first, and benefit most from a coating.
- Large touchscreens: cleaned with a screen-safe, ammonia-free product and a dedicated cloth.
- Light-colored seats are popular: denim dye transfer and sunscreen stains are cleaned early, before they set in the heat.
- Piano-black trim: it scratches if you look at it, so it gets plush microfiber only and can be polished and coated.
