Paint and exterior
The wider grille collects bugs and needs a soft brush, and the clamshell hood remains the biggest single panel. Factory-fresh paint is the best time to film and coat it.
Interior
A new dash with a central touchscreen, physical rotary controls and plenty of gloss trim around the console. Soft leather and contrast stitching are standard, with carbon and Alcantara options.
Living in Houston
New DB12s are delivered into Houston heat and humidity, so many owners book a coating right away to keep sprinkler spots and pollen off the paint during the first year.
- Semi-aniline or aniline leather: minimal moisture, no all-purpose cleaners, and a test spot before anything else touches it.
- Often wears PPF or a wrap: film edges get a coating-safe wash, no clay on the film, and the film can be ceramic coated too.
- Piano-black trim: it scratches if you look at it, so it gets plush microfiber only and can be polished and coated.
- Large touchscreens: cleaned with a screen-safe, ammonia-free product and a dedicated cloth.
