Paint and interior on the Convertible
Paint and exterior
The same paint as the Hardtop without a contrast roof, since the top is fabric. Bright colors are common, and the rear deck around the folded top collects water and pollen in its seams.
Interior
Leatherette in a small four-seat cabin that sits in direct sun whenever the top is down. The rear seats fade first, and the area behind them collects leaves when the top is lowered under trees.
Living in Houston
Top-down season in Houston is short, so most Mini convertibles spend summer closed. A black fabric top fades and holds hard-water rings if it is never protected.
- Fabric convertible top: cleaned with a top-specific cleaner and protected, with no pressure washer on the seams.
- Synthetic leather: it does not need conditioner, just a gentle cleaner and a matte protectant so it does not go shiny.
- Unpainted textured trim: it fades grey in the sun, so it is cleaned and dressed with a matte UV protectant.

The Convertible is priced as sedan / coupe. Prices are by vehicle size and assume normal condition. Heavy pet hair, sand, mold, smoke or neglected paint is quoted on the call, before anything is booked. No surprises on the day.
