Lincoln Navigator detailing in Houston
The Navigator is Lincoln's full-size SUV, shared with the Expedition underneath, and in Houston it is as much a family vehicle as a car service favorite.
Paint and interior on the Navigator
Paint and exterior
Black and deep blue Navigators show every swirl on the long hood and big doors, and the chrome grille and window surrounds collect hard water spots. The power running boards on newer trucks trap grit in their hinges.
Interior
Leather everywhere, light colors common, and on 2018 and newer trucks multi-adjustable front seats with massage. The second-row captain's chairs and third-row footwells catch spilled drinks and crumbs.
Living in Houston
Used for school runs in Cinco Ranch and Sugar Land, and as black car service vehicles out to Bush. A Navigator parked at the Galleria in July comes back with a scorching dash and leather that needs conditioning.
- Black and dark colors are common: they show swirls, water spots and pollen film first, and benefit most from a coating.
- Lots of chrome: Houston hard water etches it, so it is dried fully, polished where needed and sealed.
- Light-colored seats are popular: denim dye transfer and sunscreen stains are cleaned early, before they set in the heat.
- Third row and cargo area: both are included, which is why three-row vehicles sit in the larger size class.
- Large wheels and tall tires: wheel faces, barrels and wells take real time on this one, and it shows when they are done right.
What a Navigator costs to detail
The Navigator is priced as full-size truck / 3-row suv. Prices are by vehicle size and assume normal condition. Heavy pet hair, sand, mold, smoke or neglected paint is quoted on the call, before anything is booked. No surprises on the day.
