Dodge Charger detailing in Houston
The Charger is one of the most common sedans on Houston freeways, from rental-spec SXTs to Scat Packs and Hellcats parked under covers in Cypress.
Paint and interior on the Charger
Paint and exterior
The long hood and wide trunk lid show swirls on black, gray and dark blue cars, and many have stripes or decals that need a gentle edge when washing. Widebody cars add bolt-on fender flares with seams that trap wax and dust.
Interior
Cloth or leather on most, with suede-style inserts on some Scat Pack and SRT seats. The gloss trim around the shifter and screen scratches easily, and the big rear seat collects kid crumbs and gym bags.
Living in Houston
A Charger parked outside at an apartment complex in Katy bakes all summer; the rear window ledge and dash top fade first, and the wide wheels pick up heavy brake dust on stop-and-go 290 traffic.
- Black and dark colors are common: they show swirls, water spots and pollen film first, and benefit most from a coating.
- Large wheels and tall tires: wheel faces, barrels and wells take real time on this one, and it shows when they are done right.
- Piano-black trim: it scratches if you look at it, so it gets plush microfiber only and can be polished and coated.
- Cloth seats on many trims: spot-treated in every interior detail, with shampoo extraction as an add-on when they need it.
What a Charger costs to detail
The Charger is priced as sedan / coupe. Prices are by vehicle size and assume normal condition. Heavy pet hair, sand, mold, smoke or neglected paint is quoted on the call, before anything is booked. No surprises on the day.
