Paint and exterior
The first xB is a tall box with nearly vertical panels, easy to polish but prone to fading on the roof. The second is bigger and rounder, often in black or gray, with a chipped front end.
Interior
Upright seats, lots of headroom and fabric on almost every car. Both versions put the gauges in the center of the dash, and the tall windows let a lot of sun onto the seats.
Living in Houston
Many are now teenagers' cars or commuters, and the tall cabin heats fast in August. Spilled drinks and food left inside start to smell within a day.
- Cloth seats on many trims: spot-treated in every interior detail, with shampoo extraction as an add-on when they need it.
- Older plastic headlights yellow in the sun: headlight restoration is an add-on worth asking about.
