Paint and interior on the Evora
Paint and exterior
Composite body panels with sharp edges along the doors and engine cover; older cars often show stone chips and faded nose paint. Correction stays gentle, especially on the edges where paint is thinnest.
Interior
Small rear seats that mostly carry bags, leather or Alcantara and an older infotainment unit. The tight sills and footwells collect grit that has to be picked out by hand.
Living in Houston
An Evora used as a weekend GT for Hill Country drives picks up bugs on the nose and grit in the cabin; a full reset once a season keeps it nice.
- Alcantara or microsuede: brushed dry, cleaned with a dedicated cleaner on a towel (never sprayed directly), then re-napped.
- Low front splitter: we work on level ground and keeps equipment clear of the nose.
- Older plastic headlights yellow in the sun: headlight restoration is an add-on worth asking about.
