The original Hummer brand ended after the 2010 model year, but H2s and H3s are still common on Houston roads, and the odd H1 turns up on a ranch west of Katy. They are big, square and often lifted, so the detail is as much about wheel wells, mud and running boards as about paint. Owners usually book a full detail, and H2 owners often add a coating to keep the chrome and dark paint clean.
Paint
Flat, upright panels that are easy to polish but show every water spot. H2s carry lots of chrome; H1s often wear aftermarket finishes, so we check what is on the truck before choosing products.
Interiors
H2 cabins use leather and a lot of hard plastic, H3s have simpler cloth or leather, and H1s are spartan with a wide center tunnel. Mud and sand find their way into all of them.
