A small rounded body with a smooth nose; the newer car has flush details and a light signature that are easy to scratch with a dirty mitt. Bright colors and white are common.
Interior
A small cabin with synthetic or fabric seats, a floating screen and a flat dash top that collects dust. Light colors show dirt and denim dye quickly, and the rear seat is tight to reach.
Living in Houston
A city EV parked outside in Midtown gets hot fast; the dash and light seats suffer first. Bird droppings on the small roof should come off within a day.
- Electric: there is no engine bay, but the frunk, charge port door and underbody plastics get cleaned, and washing an EV is completely safe.
- Synthetic leather: it does not need conditioner, just a gentle cleaner and a matte protectant so it does not go shiny.
